Why I’m Running for Georgia House District 111

My name is Scott T. Jackson, and I’m running for Georgia House District 111 because I believe our communities deserve leadership that listens, understands, and delivers real results.

For years, I’ve worked in leadership and professional development, helping people from all walks of life grow, succeed, and step into leadership roles. Through that work, I’ve seen what happens when people are given the tools and support they need to thrive. I’ve also seen the challenges that too many families in our communities continue to face.

Across District 111, I’ve spoken with neighbors, small business owners, working families, and young people preparing for their future. I hear the same concerns again and again. Rising costs. Limited access to quality healthcare. Underfunded schools. A growing feeling that everyday voices are not being heard.

That’s why I decided to run.

This campaign is not about politics as usual. It is about people. It is about making sure every resident in our district has a fair shot at success and a representative who will advocate for them.

I’m running to strengthen our public education system so that both students and adult learners have real opportunities. I’m running to support small businesses and entrepreneurs who are the backbone of our local economy. I’m running to improve access to affordable healthcare and invest in communities that have been overlooked for too long.

Most importantly, I’m running to lead with integrity, collaboration, and accountability. We need leaders who show up, listen, and work alongside the community, not just during election season, but every day.

This campaign is powered by people. Neighbors talking to neighbors. Volunteers showing up. Supporters who believe in a better future for District 111.

I would be honored to earn your support.

Together, we can build a stronger, more connected, and more prosperous Georgia.
